Matthew Downham

Matthew Downham is the Director of Manufacturing & Supply Chain Networks at CEPI and also serves as the Sustainable Manufacturing Lead. Matthew has held various leadership positions in organizations such as AstraZeneca, Novartis Vaccines & Diagnostics, and MorphoSys. With a background in Biochemical Engineering, Matthew has extensive experience in vaccine development, toxicology studies, and animal welfare. Matthew has a strong academic foundation with a PhD in Biochemical Engineering and certifications in European Registered Toxicologist and Post-Graduate Education.
