Kilian Rieder

Kilian Rieder is a distinguished economist with extensive experience in monetary policy and research. Currently serving as a Schrödinger Fellow at the Paris School of Economics, Kilian Rieder has held the position of Principal Economist at Oesterreichische Nationalbank since September 2019, alongside previous roles as Lead Economist and Research Economist within the same organization. In addition, Kilian Rieder acts as a Research Affiliate at both SUERF - The European Money & Finance Forum and the Centre for Economic Policy Research. Prior appointments include a Schrödinger Fellowship and Visiting Assistant Professorship at Northwestern University, an Assistant Professorship at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), and various teaching and research roles at the University of Oxford and University of California, Berkeley. Kilian Rieder holds a Ph.D. from the University of Oxford and has completed multiple degrees at prestigious institutions including The London School of Economics and Sciences Po.
