Ada Tuesta Daudén

Ada Tuesta Daudén has a diverse work experience in the fields of compliance and risk management. Their most recent position was as the Head of Trading Compliance and Counterparties Onboarding at Cepsa, where they were responsible for compliance in the EMEA, USA, and Singapore regions. Prior to that, they worked as a Risk and Compliance Manager at SANNE, where they conducted gap analyses, implemented group policies, and generated compliance reports for the board. Ada also served as a Compliance Officer at Commerzbank AG, focusing on anti-money laundering and providing advice on the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID). Ada has experience as a Risk and Compliance Officer at Mirabaud Group, where they were involved in corporate defense, anti-fraud compliance, anti-money laundering, and the implementation of MiFID. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant at IDEAS INVESTIGACIÓN Y DESARROLLO ACTUARIAL Y DE SEGUROS, S.A., where they coordinated projects for the implementation of Solvency II and created compliance programs. Early in their career, Ada worked as a Junior Lawyer at UNLP-Universidad Nacional de La Plata.

Ada Tuesta Daudén completed a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in Legal & Business studies from Sciences Po Lille in 2012. Ada then pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Legal studies from the Universidad de Zaragoza, which they completed in 2012. In 2013, Ada obtained a Master in International Legal Practice with a scholarship from the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía, specializing in International Law. Ada also completed a Legal English Course during the same period. In 2015, Ada enrolled in the Financial Markets Course offered by Yale University through Coursera. In 2017, they briefly attended the Universidad Pontificia Comillas for a Compliance for Financial Entities program. Ada has obtained additional certifications in various fields, including Crude Oil and Products Trading, Compliance for Financial Entities, Criminal Liability of Legal Entities, and language proficiency in French and English.
