Maria Servera Mayordomo

Maria Servera Mayordomo has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Maria started their career as a Research Assistant at CSIC in 2009, where they worked until 2010. Following this, they worked as a Design Engineer at Awaiting Eyes Foundation for a brief period in 2011. Maria then joined Repsol as a Process and Maintenance Engineer/Industrial Technical Engineer from 2011 to 2012. Maria gained experience in reviewing and improving pilot plant operating conditions and maintenance of mechanical and electric equipment.

In 2012, Maria joined Bayer MaterialScience as an On-site Process Engineer/Industrial Technical Engineer. In this role, they operated and managed three plants within the production site of a polyurethane chemical plant. Maria also reviewed and troubleshooted the operation of pumps, heaters, and reactors.

Maria then transitioned to Aspen Technology, where they had multiple roles. Maria started as an Associate Technical Support Consultant in 2014, providing training and technical support for Aspen Engineering Suite products. Maria then became a Technical Support Consultant in 2015, participating in advanced training courses and beta testing software releases. In 2016, they served as a Training Coordinator, managing training administration activities and providing customer service. Lastly, Maria worked as a Business Development Representative from 2016 to 2018, managing the lead qualification and prospecting process.

Currently, Maria is employed at CEPSA, where they have held various positions. Maria started in 2018 as a Sales Executive/Sales Engineer, negotiating with clients and preparing monthly reports. Maria then became an Area Manager in the LAB Business Unit from 2019 to 2021, responsible for the management of the business unit. Subsequently, they worked as a Key Account Manager/Area Manager from 2021 to 2024, handling key accounts and managing the assigned geographic area. Currently, they hold the position of EMEA Sales Director - Surfactants BU since November 2023.

Throughout their career, Maria has gained experience in sales, key account management, technical support, training coordination, process engineering, and research.

In 2022, Maria attended Universidad Nebrija and completed the Cepsa Leaders of Tomorrow / Cepsa Inclusive Leader of Tomorrow program, focusing on Business Administration and Management.
