Rafael Fernández Qundez has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Rafael started their career at PSA Peugeot Citroën, where they worked in Human Resources Management Methods and Systems. Rafael then joined CAJA MADRID as a Human Resources Regional Manager before being promoted to Human Resources Development Director.

Following their time at CAJA MADRID, Rafael worked at Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking (SGCIB) as the Human Resources Manager for the Spanish branch. Rafael was responsible for implementing HR policies and procedures and managing various HR-related issues.

Rafael later joined CEPSA as the Talent and Development Director, where they drove the implementation of global HR programs and initiatives. Later, from 1991 to 1992, they obtained a DESS (Diplôme d'Etudes Supérieures Spécialisées) in Corporate and Institutional Communication at Université de Bordeaux III in France. In 2015, they attended the GLOBAL SENIOR MANAGEMENT PROGRAM at both IE Business School and The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, focusing on Business Administration and Management. Subsequently, in 2018 and 2019, they completed an Executive Master in Psychology, specializing in Positive Leadership and Transformation at IE School of Science and Technology.
