Deepa Parekh

Deepa Parekh is a seasoned professional in sustainability and building science, currently serving as Principal - Sustainability at Kapadia Associates since January 2024, where the focus is on enabling firm-wide sustainability. Concurrently, Deepa is a Visiting Faculty at CEPT University, teaching a course on 'Communications for Energy Efficiency Business' in the MTech program. Previous experience includes a significant tenure at environmental design solutions as Associate Director of Sustainability Education, where customized training programs were developed. Deepa has also held various roles, including Senior Project Manager and Senior Green Building Analyst, focusing on green building initiatives. Early career experiences include positions at Rachana Sansad Institute and USC, contributing to architectural education and facilities management. Deepa holds a Master of Building Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Architecture from the Institute of Environmental Design.
