Shalini Sinha

Shalini Sinha currently serves as a Senior Associate Professor at CEPT University since October 2009 and holds the position of Center Head and Principal Researcher at the Center of Excellence in Urban Transport, CRDF since February 2021. Sinha has prior experience as an Independent Consultant from January 2008 to September 2009 and worked as a Planner at Arup in London from December 2004 to August 2007, focusing on public transport modeling and appraisal projects. Early career experience includes a role as Senior Research Associate at the School of Planning, Center for Environmental Planning and Technology in Ahmedabad from January 2002 to August 2003, and as an Executive in Project Planning at Gujarat Positra Port Infrastructure Limited from July 2000 to December 2001, contributing to the Master Plan for a Special Economic Zone. Sinha's educational background includes a PhD from CEPT University (2017), an MSc(Eng) in Transport Planning and Engineering from the University of Leeds (2004), an M.Planning in Urban and Regional Planning from CEPT (2000), and a B.Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi (1998).
