Mick Shaw

Mick Shaw has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology and energy sectors. Mick started their career at Panoptech Limited as a Wireless Solutions Architect and later moved to Ensign Communications Ltd as a Senior Wireless Engineer. Mick then joined Paradigm Communication Systems Ltd as a Systems Engineer. Mick then transitioned to Schlumberger, where they worked as a Wireless & OFS Operations - Product Champion, specializing in engineering and product management.

At Cisco Systems, Mick held several positions, including Managing Architect in the Digital Transformation Group and Business Architect in the Exploration & Production, Oil & Gas Ops Business Solutions team. Mick also served as a Customer Solutions Architect in the Enterprise Energy division.

After Cisco, Mick worked at Redline Communications as the Director of Business Architecture - US Energy Vertical. Following that, they worked at Dell Technologies as the Global Innovation Lead - Enterprise Networking and later as an Advisory Specialist in Enterprise Networking, serving clients like ExxonMobil, Comcast, Emerson, and Home Depot.

Before their current role, Mick was self-employed and actively seeking oil & gas, enterprise architecture, and business architecture roles. Mick then joined Woodside Energy as the Lead Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Architect - Capital Projects, responsible for technical project management and principal architecture for Woodside's $7.2BN Trion Project.

Currently, Mick Shaw is working at Ceragon Networks as the Sales Director for the US Energy Sector.

Mick Shaw obtained a National Certificate in Engineering Electronics from the No2 School of Technical Training, RAF Cosford, from 1996 to 1998. In 2013, they also completed the Cisco Enterprise Architecture Methodology course from the Cisco Networking Academy, specializing in Enterprise Architecture and Business Capability Engineering. Furthermore, they have obtained several additional certifications, including IEC62443 - IC32 and IC34 from the International Society of Automation (ISA), as well as CompTIA Security+ and AWS Certified Solutions Architect certifications from LinkedIn. Mick Shaw also completed various cybersecurity and networking courses from LinkedIn, including VMware NSX-T 3.0 Essential Training and Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Fundamentals.
