Associate Director, Global Strategic Accounts at Cerba Research

Daniela D. Dimitrova has had a diverse range of work experiences. Daniela D. began their career as an Assistant Store Manager at Perfumania in 2004 before moving on to work as a Sales Service Specialist at Bank of America from 2006 to 2009.

In 2010, they interned at Emory University School of Medicine's Microbiology and Immunology Department, later becoming a Research Lab Assistant and eventually a Research Specialist. During their time at Emory, they conducted research on the role of efflux systems in beta-lactam resistance and identified a gene responsible for virulence variability in Acinetobacter baumannii.

In 2016, Daniela joined Kimberly-Clark as a Scientist and Lab Manager in the Microbiology Department. Daniela D. contributed to breakthrough Human Microbiome research and implemented an observational clinical study on perineal skin microbiomes.

From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Q² Solutions as a Global Lab Project Services Manager, overseeing central laboratory management for numerous global clinical trials across various indications.

In 2021, they joined Precision For Medicine as a Senior Project Manager, specializing in Translational & Specialty Lab Services. Daniela D.'sresponsibilities included providing strategic recommendations, optimizing revenue, and mentoring direct reports in project and risk management.

Most recently, Daniela joined Cerba Research as a Strategic Account Lead and later became the Associate Director of Global Strategic Accounts. Daniela D.'srole includes managing global accounts and implementing strategies to expand business.

Throughout their career, Daniela has demonstrated expertise in various fields, including project management, process improvement, financial management, protocol development, and risk management. Daniela D. holds an MBA and is a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.

Daniela D. Dimitrova holds an Executive MBA degree in Business of Healthcare and Strategy from Emory University - Goizueta Business School, which they completed from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Georgia State University, graduating in 2013. Daniela also obtained a High School Diploma from the English Language School, with a focus on English and German. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained the ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt certification from ASQ - World Headquarters in June 2022.
