János Szabó

János Szabó has extensive experience in the field of business development and project management within the research and pharmaceutical industry. János currently holds the position of Executive Director, Business Development, Lead EU Biopharma at Cerba Research since September 2022. Prior to this, János worked at Eurofins Central Laboratory as Director of Business Development from January 2017 to August 2022. János also served as Business Development Director at ICON Central Laboratories from March 2011 to December 2016. Earlier in their career, János held roles such as BD Manager at BARC Global Central Laboratory from October 2009 to March 2011, Contracts & Proposals Manager and Project Manager at Bio Analytical Research Corporation from February 2009 to October 2009, and Project Coordinator at Virco from January 2006 to April 2007. János started their career as a Clinical Data Manager at MSD Sharp & Dohme GmbH from January 2004 to January 2006. János holds a degree from Budapesti Muszaki es Gazdasagtudomanyi Egyetem.

János Szabó began their education in 1990 at Czuczor Gergely, where they pursued a degree in an unspecified field of study. János completed their studies at Czuczor Gergely in 1994. In 1998, they enrolled at Budapest University of Technology and Economics and pursued a Master's degree in Chemistry. János Szabó successfully completed this program in 2003. During their time at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, János also attended Ghent University for a year from 2001 to 2002. At Ghent University, they pursued a second Master's degree, this time in Bioengineering.
