Xavier Pichon

Xavier Pichon has over 15 years of work experience in various scientific and research roles. Since 2021, they have been working as a Principal Scientist at Cerba Research, where they serve as a Scientific Project Manager and provides oversight in the development and validation of biomarkers in immuno-oncology. Xavier'sresponsibilities include project management, meeting with sponsors, and ensuring adherence to scientific and technical guidelines.

Before joining Cerba Research, Xavier worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Institut de Génétique Moléculaire de Montpellier (IGMM) from 2015 to 2020. In this role, they managed multiple research projects focused on the biogenesis of RNA and the regulation of gene expression. Xavier developed innovative tools and techniques in molecular biology to study mRNA localization and translation in living cells.

Prior to that, Xavier held a Career Development Fellow post-doc position at MRC TOXICOLOGY UNIT from 2010 to 2014, where they specialized in toxicology research.
