Chris Orndorff has extensive work experience in the financial management industry. Chris is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Cercano Management since 2022. From 2016 to 2021, Orndorff worked as the Chief Investment Officer at Vulcan Inc., where they oversaw various investment teams and managed a range of asset classes. Before that, they held the position of Senior Portfolio Manager at Western Asset Management from 2010 to 2016, where they managed portfolios and led product development initiatives. Chris also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Mercer Advisors, providing strategic advice on business and investment strategies from 2010 to 2015. Additionally, Orndorff was the Chief Investment Officer at Orndorff Capital Management from 2009 to 2010, actively managing a portfolio with diverse asset allocations. Chris'scareer started at Northern Trust, where they worked as a Second Vice President from 1985 to 1990. Throughout their career, Orndorff gained experience in various leadership roles, including executive committee memberships and board positions.

Chris Orndorff completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at Miami University from 1982 to 1985. Following this, from 1987 to 1989, they pursued an MBA degree at the University of Chicago with a focus on Finance and International Business. Additionally, in September 1989, they obtained a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute.
