Michelle Marinova

Michelle Marinova, CFA, currently serves as a Portfolio Manager/Analyst at Cercano, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Michelle worked as a REIT Analyst at Principal Asset Management from June 2019 to October 2023 and gained extensive experience at Westwood Holdings Group, Inc. from June 2014 to June 2019, where roles included Research Analyst, Associate Analyst, and Research Associate. Michelle's early career involved tutoring Russian grammar at Irwin Academic Center and serving as a Student Associate at Engineering Career Services. Additionally, Michelle contributed as a Research Assistant in the U of I Physics Department and was a Team Member at Noodles & Company. Academically, Michelle holds a Master of Science in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Physics with a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
