Ila Eckhoff

Ila Eckhoff, MBA, CPA, currently serves as the Board Chair for the Cerebral Palsy Foundation since April 2023. With a career at BlackRock Inc. spanning over two decades, Ila has held significant roles including Managing Director of Industry and Counterparty Management and Market Initiatives Team, where oversight was provided to establish a global strategic model for OTC derivatives and implement DFA central clearing requirements. Previous positions include Director of U.S. Derivative Operations and Associate Director at Barclays Capital, where leadership was demonstrated in collateral management for substantial business activities. Ila's foundational experience at Credit Lyonnais included Vice President and managerial roles in risk mitigation and accounting policy. Educational credentials include an MBA in Accounting from Baruch College and a BA in Economics from Brandeis University.

Cerebral Palsy research is vastly underfunded despite the number of people impacted. We work year-round with key lawmakers, policy makers, government agencies and other stakeholders to educate and draft language.
