Amirali Sharifian

Amirali Sharifian is a Senior MTS in Advanced Technology at Cerebras Systems since July 2021. Previously, Amirali served as a Compiler Engineer at Untether AI, where responsibilities included implementing and maintaining a custom LLVM compiler backend for AI hardware accelerators. Prior to that, Amirali was a Research Engineer at Huawei Technologies, focusing on developing an LLVM backend for a RISC Processor and creating LLVM analysis passes for architectural insights. Amirali holds a PhD in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University, where a Master's degree in Computer Science was also obtained, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology.
