Ilija Jergovic

Ilija Jergovic is a seasoned engineer and leader in power management and semiconductor technology, currently serving as Lead Power Architect at Cerebras Systems since October 2025. Ilija has a diverse background as an angel investor with Silicon Catalyst Angels and held several executive roles, including Senior Director of Systems at onsemi and Director of IC Architecture at Cirrus Logic. Previous experience includes a significant tenure at Maxim Integrated as Executive Director of Advanced Research and Development and leadership roles at Volterra, where Ilija spearheaded R&D in renewable energy and advanced packaging. Early in the career, Ilija worked at SGI as a Custom Digital Circuit Design Engineer. Ilija holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completed in 1999.
