Silvia Ingala

Silvia Ingala is currently serving as an Introlæge at Herlev og Gentofte Hospital since November 2024 and concurrently works as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Rigshospitalet, focusing on artificial intelligence applications in radiology, specifically an AI for chest X-ray project. Silvia also holds the position of Medical Researcher at CEREBRIU, where tasks include optimizing neuroradiology workflows and developing stroke biomarkers. Previous experience includes roles as a Radiology Resident at Noordwest Ziekenhuisgroep and Amsterdam UMC, and as a Physician Scientist at VU University Medical Center - Amsterdam Neuroscience, contributing to the European Prevention of Alzheimer’s Disease project. Early career positions involved research internships in neuroimaging and CAR-T cell immunotherapy. Silvia obtained a PhD in Neuroscience from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Doctor of Medicine from Università di Pavia, supplemented by qualifications from the Istituto Universitario di Studi Superiori and Collegio Universitario S. Caterina da Siena.
