Disha Bahl

Disha Bahl is a Medical Researcher at Keck Medicine of USC, specializing in clinical research aimed at enhancing access to kidney transplantation for marginalized communities. Disha also serves as a CREST Research Intern at Kaiser Permanente, focusing on data analytics related to pulmonary embolisms, with a publication in progress. Previous roles include Scientist I at Roche and Founder/Director of the OWN IT Summit at UC Davis, which successfully gathered over 200 attendees and secured nearly $10,000 in sponsorships. Disha's early research experience includes internships at NASA Ames Research Center, Roche Molecular Systems, Genia Technologies, and Stanford University, with a strong focus on various biological and molecular mechanisms. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at St. George's University, Disha also holds a degree in Genetics and Genomics from the University of California, Davis, and an Associate's Degree in Molecular Biology from De Anza College.
