R. Erdem Erkul is the founder and chairman of Cerebrum Tech. Prior to their current role, Erkul served as the director of public sector and investments at Microsoft from July 2018 to November 2020. In this role, they were responsible for sales, marketing, investments, and digital transformation.

From August 2014 to July 2018, Erkul was the director of public sector and external affairs and spokesperson at Samsung Electronics. For their doctorates, they attended Ankara University for a PhD in Political Science and Public Administration and National Center for Digital Government in the USA for a PhD in E-government & Public Policy. R. was also a Doctoral Research Fellow at University of Massachusetts Amherst for the National Center for Digital Government. R.'s masters was in Public Administration from Hacettepe University. R. completed their Bachelor's Course Completion Program in Business and Public Administration from Hacettepe University and has a BBA from Sivas Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi. R. went to Sivas Lisesi for high school. For certification, they have one from LinkedIn in Metaverse and NFTs for Marketing.
