Jagan Shanmugam

Jagan Shanmugam is a seasoned professional in IT Information Security, currently serving as a Senior IT Information Security Technical Designer at Cerence Inc. since September 2019, where responsibilities include real-time monitoring, security incident management, and the establishment of scan engines in Azure for Vulnerability Management. Prior to this role, Jagan was a Security Specialist at Nuance Communications from September 2017 to September 2019, collaborating with the SOC team on security incidents and analysis. Jagan began the career as a Security Analyst Intern at Wipro and worked as a Project Engineer. Academically, Jagan holds a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Easwari Engineering College.
