Kelly Coplin

Kelly Coplin has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as the Director of Product Management at Ceres Imaging since July 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Product Manager at Ceres Imaging from September 2019 to July 2022.

Before joining Ceres Imaging, Kelly held various roles at WaterSmart Software. Kelly served as the Director of Product from March 2019 to September 2019, and as a Senior Product Manager from August 2017 to March 2019. Prior to that, they were a Product Manager from June 2015 to July 2017 and a Product Analyst (Consultant) from August 2014 to June 2015. Kelly started their journey at WaterSmart Software as a Product Management Intern, where they managed the design of a new water utility communication product and organized a staff rafting trip.

In addition to their experience in the software industry, Kelly has also worked as a Study Research Associate at the Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering, where they conducted research on the development of statewide numeric nutrient criteria for phosphorus. Kelly was involved in publishing recommendations to the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

Before that, Kelly worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Project Writer at the Environmental Performance Index, Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy. Kelly analyzed data and drafted content for the 2014 Environmental Performance Index, a global metric that ranks countries on performance indicators.

Kelly also gained experience in the non-profit sector as a Water Program Assistant at the Natural Resources Defense Council, where they provided administrative support to the Water Program team.

Furthermore, Kelly worked as a Legal Assistant at the Law Offices of Amitai Schwartz, where they conducted legal research and provided support for appellate cases.

During their time at Planning and Conservation League, Kelly served as a Global Warming Program Fellow and initiated a Local Climate Action Initiative workshop.

Lastly, as a Research Assistant at Stanford University, Kelly proposed, designed, and implemented independent research on the impacts of cattle grazing on the dispersal patterns of the butterfly Speyeria mormonia.
