Aidan Silsby

Aidan Silsby is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in design and development within the motorsport and marine industries. Currently serving as a Test Platform Mechanical Engineer at Ceres since May 2022, Aidan previously held positions at Cox Powertrain Limited, where responsibilities included the design and development of the CXO300 outboard, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure product requirements were met. Aidan's foundational experiences include roles as a Graduate Engineer at Cox Powertrain Limited and participation in the University of Wolverhampton Racing team, where skills in design for manufacturability were honed. Aidan's academic background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Motorsport Engineering from the University of Wolverhampton and a Foundation Degree from the University of Brighton, complemented by hands-on work in electronics and bike assembly.
