Head Of Energy Materials at Ceres

Andy Clare has had a diverse range of work experiences in the field of energy materials and low carbon technologies. Andy started their career as a Fuel Cell Chemist at Voller Energy Group Plc, where they were involved in the development of a reformer based hydrogen fuel cell. Andy then worked as a Research Scientist at Johnson Matthey, focusing on the development of catalysts for low carbon technologies. Andy later joined Diverse Energy as a Test Development Engineer, where they played a key role in the development and prototype testing of the PowerCube®, a power generator based on chemical reforming of anhydrous ammonia combined with fuel cell technology. Currently, Andy is working at Ceres as the Head of Energy Materials, overseeing the Characterisation Team and responsible for the development of energy materials. Overall, Andy has a strong background in research and development, particularly in the areas of catalyst development and energy generation technologies.

From 2003 to 2006, Andy Clare attended the University of Nottingham where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Molecular Physics.
