Karen Trotman

Karen Trotman is an accomplished Technology Programme Manager at Ceres, specializing in Solid Oxide Fuel and Electrolyser technologies since October 2020. With a strong background in project management, Karen has led R&D projects through various Technology Readiness Levels, ensuring early and under-budget deliveries. Previously, Karen held significant roles at TUI, where responsibilities included leading content technology and managing product content processes, and at Aston Chemicals Ltd, focusing on business improvement and project management for new market initiatives. Karen's extensive career also includes roles at Boots UK, contributing to cost reduction and product innovation efforts, as well as academic experience as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Aberdeen. Karen holds a BSc (Hons) and a PhD in Geology & Mineralogy from the University of Aberdeen and is accredited in Prince 2 project management.
