Oliver Postlethwaite has a diverse work experience spanning different positions and companies. Oliver started their career at Turbo Technics Ltd. as a Project Design Engineer, where they were responsible for design, testing, and manufacturing support. Oliver then joined Ricardo as a Performance and Calibration Engineer, working on diesel engines' performance and emissions development. At Ricardo, they also served as an FEA Analysis Engineer, specializing in powertrain design and analysis. Since 2010, Oliver has been working at Ceres, where they held various roles, including Principal Test Engineer, Fuel Cell Systems team leader, Head of Systems Engineering, System Applications Director, and currently as the Product Strategy and Applications Director. In their current position, Oliver leads product management, application engineering functions, and industry practices to ensure the technology aligns with market needs and maximizes commercial leverage.
Oliver Postlethwaite attended Imperial College London from 2000 to 2005, where they graduated with a 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering. In May 2010, they obtained their certification as a Chartered Mechanical Engineer from the IMechE. Furthermore, in June 2022, they achieved the status of Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers from the same institution.
