Carol Sable

Carol Sable has more than 20 years of experience in the medical writing field. Carol is currently working as the Director of Medical Writing at Cerevel Therapeutics since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Manager - Medical Writing at the same company from September 2021 to December 2022. From 2016 to 2021, Carol was a Medical Writing Consultant at Sable Communications Inc. Carol also had experience as a Global Medical Writing Senior Manager at Amgen from 2015 to 2016. Before that, they worked as a Medical Writing Consultant at Sable Communications, Inc from 2007 to 2015. Carol also held positions as a Senior Medical Writer at PPD from 2007 to 2010, a Medical Writer Manager at Schwarz BioSciences, Inc from 2003 to 2007, and a Medical Writer at PharmaNet from 2001 to 2003. Carol started their career as a Medical Writer at PPD from 1999 to 2001.

Carol Sable completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Microbiology at UC Santa Barbara between 1983 and 1987. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where they earned a PhD in Pharmacology from 1990 to 1995. Before their university years, Carol attended Golden High School, although the specific dates and degree obtained are unknown.
