Douglas Barta

Douglas Barta has an extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Douglas is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Cerevel Therapeutics, a company focused on neuroscience diseases. Prior to this, they held the same position at PAREXEL, a global biopharmaceutical services organization. Douglas has also served as the Chief Information Officer at Guy Carpenter, a risk and reinsurance intermediary services provider. Earlier in their career, they worked at Fidelity Investments, The Hackett Group, Nauticus Networks, Answerthink, Legacy Technology, and Digital Equipment Corporation, holding various senior management and leadership roles.

Douglas Barta completed their BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University from 1982 to 1986. Following that, they pursued an MBA with a specialization in Finance at The Wharton School from 1990 to 1992.
