Shawn Tang

Shawn Tang has over 20 years of experience in talent acquisition and leadership roles. Shawn'smost recent position is as a member of Chief, a private network focused on empowering women executives. Prior to this, they worked at Cerevel Therapeutics as Vice President, leading the People and Talent Acquisition team. Shawn also held roles at Pfizer and Biogen, where they served in various talent acquisition and leadership positions. Earlier in their career, they worked at Genentech and Amgen (formerly Tularik Inc) as a staffing consultant and recruiter, respectively. Throughout their career, Shawn has demonstrated expertise in developing recruiting strategies, managing budgets, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Shawn Tang attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1994 to 1997. During this time, they studied Integrative Biology with an emphasis in Genetics and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree.
