Bill G.

Bill G. has a strong background in technology leadership and analytics. Bill is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer at Data Driven Energy since October 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Analytics at XCL Resources from January 2020 to December 2021. Before that, they held positions at OAG Analytics, where they were the Director of Pre-Sales from January 2019 to December 2019, and an Implementation Lead / Data Scientist from November 2017 to December 2018. Bill also worked as a Director of Pre-Sales at eLynx Technologies from May 2016 to December 2017.

Additionally, Bill has experience in production engineering, as they worked as a Production Engineer at EOG Resources from December 2013 to May 2016. Bill was involved in production optimization, field and workover operations, data analysis, and design of rod pumps and ESPs. During this time, they developed various data processing programs using Python.

Prior to their work in the energy industry, Bill served as a Research Assistant at the Colorado School of Mines from August 2012 to May 2014. Bill also gained industry experience through internships at EOG Resources and EQT Corporation in 2013 and 2012 respectively.

Before starting their career in the energy industry, Bill served in the United States Air Force as a C-17 Loadmaster from June 2006 to June 2010.

Bill G. attended Colorado School of Mines from 2011 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering. In addition to their degree, they obtained two certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS): Amazon Web Services Machine Learning - Specialty in November 2019 and Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate in November 2019.
