Alessia Valenza

Alessia Valenza serves as the Executive Assistant to the Director for Accelerators and Technology at CERN since June 2017, providing comprehensive administrative support to high-level executives and managing complex international meetings. Previously, Alessia held the role of Administrative Assistant at CERN, facilitating front-office services and managing workshops and events. From January 2010 to April 2016, Alessia worked as a Communication and Membership Officer at ILGA, where responsibilities included developing communication strategies and coordinating outreach efforts. Early in the career, Alessia gained experience in web content management while working for various web agencies. Alessia holds an M.Phil in Political Philosophy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Università degli Studi di Genova.
