Diogo Alves is an experienced applied physicist currently working at CERN since July 2014, specializing in beam instrumentation, accelerator physics, and beam-based real-time control. Prior to this role, Diogo Alves served as Section Leader for Beam Instrumentation in Intensity and Tune at the Joint European Torus from May 2009 to June 2014, and as a Plasma Operations and Control Expert at Instituto de Plasmas e Fusão Nuclear from January 2001 to June 2014.
