Gianluca Valentino

Gianluca Valentino currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Semablu since September 2023 and holds multiple academic roles at the University of Malta, including Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer, and Lecturer, starting from September 2016. Additionally, Gianluca Valentino has been a Visiting Scientist at CERN since August 2010, where previous positions included Marie Curie Action CERN-COFUND Postdoctoral Fellow and Doctoral Student. Gianluca Valentino is also the President of the Malta Chamber of Scientists from January 2020 to February 2024. Educational accomplishments include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) obtained from the University of Malta (2010-2013) and a First Class Honours B.Sc. in Communications and Computer Engineering from the same institution (2007-2010). Participation in the Caltech Space Challenge 2013 further highlights a commitment to innovative aerospace mission design.
