Pratik Jawahar

Pratik J. is a Doctoral Researcher at CERN, engaged in the MSCA SMARTHEP project, focusing on the development of fast machine learning-based trigger algorithms for the ATLAS experiment, particularly in real-time anomaly detection and dark matter searches. Previously, Pratik completed a Graduate Research Fellowship on Project DarkFlow, investigating novel deep learning algorithms for robust anomaly detection at the Large Hadron Collider. Academic background includes a Master of Science in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where Pratik also contributed to research on fault detection in multi-robot systems and intoxication level detection using deep semi-supervised learning. Current doctoral studies in Particle Physics are being pursued at the University of Manchester. Pratik's early experience at CERN involved system design for performance analysis of gas electron multiplier detectors.
