Tiange Yuan

Tiange Yuan is a Research Scientist III at CERT Systems Inc, focusing on scaling up CO2 electrochemical conversion since June 2023. Concurrently, Tiange has served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Toronto since May 2017, specializing in direct urea synthesis through electrocoupling of nitrate and carbon dioxide, resulting in five publications. Tiange has supervised over five thesis projects, demonstrating strong leadership in project management and research training, while also working in various research capacities, including developing catalysts for CO2 reduction and conducting biomarker analysis at several prominent institutions. Tiange earned a PhD in electrocatalysis from the University of Toronto, following a Bachelor of Science with High Distinction in Chemistry and Environmental Science.
