Shelly Hutcheson

Shelly Hutcheson has over 20 years of experience in marketing, strategic projects, consulting, and event production. In 1999, they began their career as a Catering Sales Manager, Entertainment Director, and Membership Sales Manager for The Golf Club at Newcastle. In 2000, they became the Director of Marketing & Promotions for ShopLocal.com. From 2001 to 2009, they were the Founder and Consultant for Fluid Consulting Group (previously Kealani Contractors) and the Managing Director and Consultant for Magnolia Ventures LLC. Shelly provided consulting services, program/project management, and event production for clients. In 2009, they became the Managing Director and Consultant for Recco Consulting Inc., where they provided consulting services for Microsoft. In 2017, they became the Acting Director of Marketing and Communications (previously Sr. Manager, Global Engagement) for Greater Seattle Partners. In 2014, they co-founded The Buoy Company. In 2020, they became the Business Manager for Webex Merch Store and Events Consultant and Producer for the Global Events Team in Collaboration Marketing. Shelly is currently the Partner Marketing + Strategic Projects Lead for Certa (getcerta.com).

Shelly Hutcheson earned a Bachelor's degree from Washington State University and participated in a Study Abroad Program through Washington State University at the University of London, focusing on General Studies.
