Kara Ferguson

Kara Ferguson SHRM-CP has a diverse background in human resources and operations management. Kara is currently working as the Human Resources Director at CertaSite. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Thompson Thrift for a brief period. Before that, they held the position of Human Resources Director at Indy Auto Man and Now Courier Inc. Kara also gained experience at Walmart eCommerce as the Operations Manager of Learning and as the Onsite Operations Manager. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Home Depot District Program Manager at ARS Rescue Rooter Plumbing, Assistant Store Manager of Specialty at Home Depot, and HR Operations Manager at Kohl's Department Stores. Kara started their career as an Assistant Store Manager at Walmart and worked as an Operations Management Supervisor at UPS. Throughout their various roles, Kara has demonstrated expertise in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and managing personnel, as well as implementing process improvements and ensuring excellent customer service.

Kara Ferguson SHRM-CP received their Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management from Oakland City University from 2003 to 2007. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in July 2021. Kara also obtained the Cybersecurity at Work certification from LinkedIn in August 2022. Additionally, Kara received the SAS Certified Predictive Modeler Using SAS Enterprise Miner 14 certification from ADVISA in June 2019.
