Joav Isay

Joav Isay has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2012, they completed a voluntary internship as a Sales Assistant at Allianz, where they gained insights into the insurance system. From 2014 to 2016, they served as a First Sergeant in the Israel Defense Forces. In 2018, Joav worked as an Assistant to the CEO at KHB Accountants. Starting in 2020, they joined STARTPLATZ, first as a Business Development Manager, where they introduced new products, grew the member size, and moderated networking sessions. Joav also served as a Projektmanager for the "Startupnation to Mittelstand" matchmaking format. In 2022, Joav worked as an Analyst at Rainmaking, followed by a role as a Project Management Specialist at PwC Deutschland, where they managed IT projects for the digitization of the public sector. In 2023, they founded AcceleratorMatch, a platform for startups seeking to join accelerators. Currently, they work as a Business Development Manager at Certif-ID International GmbH.

Joav Isay obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from the University of Cologne, where they studied from 2018 to 2022. Additionally, they have earned several certifications, including Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills from the University of Michigan in April 2023, Open Water Diver from PADI in July 2017, and C-Lizenz Trainer from the Westdeutscher Basketball Verband in April 2011.
