Andres Lasn, MD, FM

Andres Lasn, MD, FM has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Andres is currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer for Certific since 2022. Prior to this, they founded and served as the CEO of Kehakaalu kliinik, a private weight loss clinic in Tallinn. Andres was also a Faculty Lecturer at the University of Tartu since 2019.

Dr. Lasn has been actively involved in the medical professional societies. Andres was a Board Member and Project Manager at The Estonian Society of Family Doctors where they were responsible for managing a primary care IT-related project. Andres also served as a member and Vice Chair of The Council of IT-development in Family Medicine. Andres was a Board Member of Young Family Doctors of Estonia, representing family physician residents and young doctors in Estonia.

Additionally, Dr. Lasn has experience in the research and development of high fidelity medical devices as the CEO of SafeToAct Ltd. Andres also worked as a freelance translator at Interlex Media & Translations.

Furthermore, Dr. Lasn is a guest lecturer at TalTech Digital Health MSc programme and has been actively involved in the field of digital health.

Andres Lasn, MD, FM completed their primary education at Järveotsa Gymnasium from 1998 to 2007. Andres then attended Gustav Adolph Grammar School from 2007 to 2010 to pursue secondary education. Later, they enrolled in the University of Tartu and obtained their Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) from 2010 to 2016. Continuing their education at the University of Tartu, they specialized in Family Medicine from 2016 to 2019.
