Fernando Zapata-Cornelio Ceng

Fernando Zapata-Cornelio PhD CEng is an Engineering Team Lead at FinancialForce since March 2018, with a background in software engineering and experience as an associate software engineer. Prior to this role, Fernando worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Leeds, focusing on experimental and computational analysis of spinal treatments, and served as a demonstrator and laboratory assistant. Additional experience includes a research officer position at Procter & Gamble, where Fernando utilized FEA simulations to solve industry problems, and earlier roles at PEMEX and Flextronics, contributing to mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes. Fernando holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leeds and a BSc in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
