John Douglas, SHRM-CP

John Douglas, SHRM-CP, has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. John began their career in 1995 as the Director of Technical Support at Wave Technologies, where they managed help desk staff and online learning projects. John then founded their own company, Douglas Digital, in 2002. In 2002, they joined DCSI as an Assistant Manager, where they created reports and acted as a liaison with the IT department. In 2007, John joined E.M. Harris as a Contract Administrator, responsible for contract compliance and computer support. John later became the Director of Operations, overseeing HR management, contract compliance, and IT support. From 2011 to 2016, John worked as a Consultant and Managing Editor at Certiport/Pearson, focusing on subject matter expert recruitment and practice test creation. Currently, they are employed at Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business as a Content Development Supervisor, where they are involved in content management and client collaboration. Overall, John has developed a strong skill set in HR, IT support, compliance, and content development.

John Douglas, SHRM-CP obtained their Bachelor's degree in Organizational Studies with a focus on Business and an emphasis on Human Resources from Fontbonne University. John attended the university from 2004 to 2007. In May 2015, they also obtained the SHRM-CP certification from the Society of Human Resource Management and SHRM Certification.
