Victor-Alexandru Truica

Victor-Alexandru Truica serves as an Information Security Officer at certSIGN since March 2023 and is a Founding Member of CYSCOE, contributing to the establishment of a significant Information Security collective in Romania. As the founder of TruInfoSec, Victor-Alexandru provides consultancy services aimed at tech startups, scale-ups, and SMBs. Previously, Victor-Alexandru held various roles, including Information Security Lead at Whereby, where a security program was built from the ground up, and Information Security Manager at Siteimprove, focusing on developing security practices in a fast-growing environment. Earlier experience includes positions at Accenture as SOC Lead and at 5 of Hearts as System Administrator. Victor-Alexandru holds a Master's degree in Security and Applied Logic from the University of Bucharest and multiple degrees in Networking and IT Security from various institutions.
