Pallavi Nahata

Pallavi Nahata is a scientist with a strong background in microbiology and immunology, holding a Master's Degree from Colorado State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from Jayoti Vidyapeeth Womens University. Currently serving as a Scientist-I at Cerus since November 2018, Pallavi specializes in characterizing growth conditions for bacteria associated with transfusion-transmitted infections and implementing pathogen reduction systems for blood products. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Associate at DairyExperts, focusing on mastitis-causing bacteria, and conducting research with humanized mice models at Colorado State University. Additional internships provided exposure to prion protein research and antimicrobial resistance trends in bacteria.
