VP Customer Relations at Cervello

Israel Baron has worked in the information security and technology field since 2002. Israel began their career at Dexcel Pharma as an IT Infrastructure & Information Security Manager. In 2008, they moved to the Israel Ministry of Defense as a Senior Information Security and Technology Officer. In 2017, they took on the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Israel Railways Ltd. Most recently, in 2019, they joined Cervello as VP Customer Relations and Director of Business Development. At Cervello, they are responsible for transforming rail safety and control by providing proven solutions to protect railways against cyber attacks.

Israel Baron has an extensive education history. From 1999 to 2002, they attended Netanya Academic College, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science. In 2008 and 2009, they attended the Israeli Ministry of Defense, where they received a degree in Information Security Officer. Israel then continued their education at the Israeli Ministry of Defense in 2014, where they received a degree in Technological Security Officer. In 2014 and 2015, they attended the Israel Police, where they earned a degree in Cyber Crime Investigator, specializing in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism. In 2010, they attended John Bryce, where they earned a degree in CISO. In 2016, they attended the Ruppin Academic Center to study SCADA Security. Additionally, they hold certifications in SCADA from the Ruppin Technology Center, Computer Forensics/Digital Investigations from the Israel Police Cyber Crime Unit, Security Officer from the Israeli Ministry of Defense, and Technological Security Officer from the Israeli Ministry of Defense.
