Malcolm Hamer BEng CID

Malcolm Hamer BEng CID has extensive experience in the engineering field, having worked in various roles since 2005. In 2005, they worked as an IT Consultant for Detica, where they held SC clearance and was exposed to Military and Defense based projects. From 2007 to 2012, they worked as a Hardware Design Engineer for t-mac Technologies Ltd, where they had sole responsibility for all new product designs as well as the maintenance of existing product lines. From 2012 to 2020, they worked for LifeScan as a Staff Electrical Engineer, part of an R&D team who were developing the next generation of battery powered blood glucose monitoring devices. Malcolm also worked as Director for Synapse Electronics Ltd from 2012 to 2022. Since 2020, they have been working as a Senior Electronics Engineer for Waire Health Ltd, performing technical project management activities, undertaking planning and resource management, and leading the company's requirements, risk, usability, quality, regulatory, design verification, packaging and labelling activities. Malcolm is also the Line Manager for another Electronics Engineer. In 2022, they began working as a Senior Electronics Engineer for Ceryx Medical Ltd.

Malcolm Hamer BEng CID attended the University of Southampton from 2002 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering degree in Electronics.
