Maryam Taheri is a highly experienced research and development scientist currently employed at CES Energy Solutions Corp. since August 2021. Previously, Maryam held the position of Project Manager and NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow at the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Materials Engineering for Unconventional Oil Reservoirs from January 2018 to August 2021. Maryam's academic career includes a postdoctoral researcher role in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Calgary, focusing on fuel cells and energy conversion, as well as research in microfluidics and biosensors in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Calgary. Maryam earned a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics and Materials Science from Brock University, where Maryam also completed a Master of Science degree. Additional teaching and research experience includes positions at Azad University and the University of Isfahan.
