Nolan Ortiz

Nolan Ortiz is an experienced professional in fund development and program management, currently serving as the Director of Fund Development at the Cesar Chavez Foundation since June 2023. Previously, Nolan held various roles at the LA84 Foundation from August 2015 to June 2023, including Director of Grants and Programs and Senior Program Officer. Additionally, Nolan worked as a Grants Associate at Para Los Niños and served as a Grants Consultant at the California Community Foundation. Early career experience includes a position as a National Urban Fellow at the California Community Foundation and work as a Social Studies Educator and Athletic Director at Academia Avance Charter School. Nolan holds a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from The City University of New York and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from CSU Long Beach.
