Sarah Chow

Sarah Chow is currently the Communications Director at Cesium. Prior to their current position, Sarah worked as a Communications Editor at AGI from July 2015 to June 2019. In this role, Sarah was responsible for outreach to build the Cesium community, writing and editing posts for the Cesium blog, and sharing updates on social media. Sarah was also responsible for writing and editing technical and business documents. Prior to their work at AGI, Sarah was self-employed.

Before their work in communications, Sarah worked as an Associate Acquisitions Editor at CRC Press from September 2010 to May 2014. In this role, Sarah acquired books for computer graphics and visualization lists, signed 24 books, and made 1,650 inquiries about new books (an average of 32 cold calls per week). Sarah also assisted with manuscript development of 48 contracted books, oversaw publication of 12 new front list titles, and attended 7 conferences in graphics and computer science. In addition, Sarah collaborated with marketing to develop review lists for each publication and for quarterly mailings.

Sarah Chow earned a Master of Arts in English from Brigham Young University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Brigham Young University.
