Theresa Crist

Theresa Crist, CLU, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the financial industry. Theresa currently holds the position of Director of Operations at Cetera Financial Group, a role they have held since August 2023.

Prior to this, Theresa worked at Securian Financial, where they held various positions over the years. From October 2018 to August 2023, they served as the Director of Business Operations, where they were responsible for the front line operations function, including product and platform management, new business, customer service, and asset movement. Theresa also played a crucial role in aligning technology resources to meet strategic needs.

Before their role as Director, Theresa held the position of Manager, New Business Operations from May 2014 to September 2018. In this role, they oversaw the analysis of operational efficiency and service improvement opportunities within teams and across organizational boundaries, ensuring the achievement of tactical and strategic goals.

Theresa's earlier experience at Securian Financial includes their role as a Professional Development Consultant from November 2009 to May 2014. In this capacity, they provided coaching and best practices to advisors, focused on developing their financial advisory practices, sales system training, marketing, and the financial planning process. Theresa also contributed to curriculum development and training plans for the company.

Theresa's career in the financial industry began in 2006 as an Assistant Analyst at the Management Development Center of Securian Financial Group, where they stayed until April 2008.
