Debby Garland

Debby Garland has extensive work experience in the field of HR operations and systems. Debby started their career as an Application Group Consultant at Ernst & Young in 1991, where they served as a Technical Team Lead for the implementation of the PeopleSoft HRMS system. Debby then worked as a Senior Consultant at Softlink from 1996 to 1998, followed by a role as a Consultant at Sears, Roebuck & Co., where they led the largest implementation of PeopleSoft HRMS in the United States.

In 1999, Garland joined Tribune Company as a Consultant, managing the technical team for the integration of the LA Times Genesys payroll system into the company's PeopleSoft HRMS system. Debby also worked as a Consultant at HSBC, serving as a Project Manager for the implementation of Time and Labor payroll integration.

Garland later joined Paradigm Solutions LLC as a Partner from 1997 to 2013, where they led cross-functional teams in various phases of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects. Debby'sresponsibilities included project planning, project management, needs assessment, solution design, testing, training, conversion, migration, and support for ERP systems.

In 2013, Garland joined Sears Holdings Corporation as the Director of HR Operations, leading the HR systems team and later becoming the Head of HR Operations. Debby also held the position of Senior Director of HR Systems. In 2018, they joined CDK Global as the Senior Director of HR Operations.

Debby'smost recent role is with CF Industries, where they serve as the IT Director of Business Process - HR and Operational Excellence starting from March 2020.

Debby Garland attended Miami University from 1988 to 1991, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Decision Sciences, Management Information Systems. Additionally, they obtained a BSBA degree in Decision Sciences during the same period.
