Kuni Chen

Kuni Chen, CFA, is a seasoned professional in sustainable investing and equity research, currently serving as the Co-Vice Chair of the Sustainable Investing Group at CFA Society New York since January 2020. With experience as an Independent ESG/Sustainable Investing Consultant since January 2017, Kuni provides strategic insights on various sustainability-related investment issues. Kuni has held notable positions, including Head of ESG Integration at Seeds and Director of Impact Investments at The Nature Conservancy, where a significant focus was placed on climate change and renewable energy. Kuni's earlier career includes leadership roles in equity research at prestigious firms such as UBS Investment Bank, CRT Capital Group, BofA Merrill Lynch, and Citigroup, establishing a strong foundation in metals, mining, and coal sectors. Kuni holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Political Science from Middlebury College.
